Day 1 (Monday) - Arrival in London
Depart on Sunday and arrive on Monday in London, where you're ready to delve into the British identity of one of the world's great cities. Once you're settled in, feel free to ease into things or dive into the sights and sounds of London.
Day 2 (Tuesday) - The British Museum and the Tate Modern
From the Rosetta Stone to the Elgin Marbles the British Museum is a history buff's paradise, featuring millions of unique artifacts. Take in some of the world's best-known items. Later, take in Britain's expansive collection of modern and contemporary art at the Tate Modern museum.
Day 3 (Wednesday) - Tower of London
Nowhere else does London's history come to life as vividly as at the Tower of London. Explore and learn the intimate details of princes and royals etched into the Tower's walls (sometimes literally). Also see the most famous exhibit, the Crown Jewels.
Day 4 (Thursday) - Stonehenge
Spend the day touring Stonehenge, one of Britain's (and the world's) most famous prehistoric monuments. Take in the scenic view and learn about one of the world's most amazing engineering feats.
Day 5 (Friday) - Free Day
Take the day to do as you wish and explore London. Take in the city's culture, shopping, dining, or history. There's something for everyone in London so you will find something to suit your interests.
Day 6 (Saturday) - Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace
Kings, queens, statesmen. Poets, heroes, and villains. Westminster Abbey is a living example of British history. Then live like royalty (or at least see how the royals do) by visiting Buckingham Palace. View the palace exterior and take the requisite photos, and witness the Changing of the Guard.
Day 7 (Sunday) - Depart London
You'll depart London and arrive back home with memories and experiences to share and enjoy.
